  Poor selection in the produce department, especially of items that are not already rotting on the shelf. The deli department closes at 8pm. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who goes grocery shopping after 8pm, so I'm not sure why they close that department so early. If you end up needing to go elsewhere to finish your grocery shopping anyway, why bother going there in the first place?

  Not well organized. Same products on opposite sides of store. Half the cheese in one corner. The other half in another. Fruit juices on one side, fruit smoothies the other. Donuts here...donuts there. Grouping like products together makes an easier shopping experience for the customer. Food quality seemed fine. Employees were fine.

  I previously lived in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland and while I lived there, I never experienced a Giant Store in that state that wasn't very clean, well stocked, and with friendly, professional personnel. That said, I moved here to Woodbridge Virginia a year ago, and have found that the majority of the Giant Stores in the Woodbridge area around my home are not nearly as clean, or as well stocked, the produce is typically of very poor quality. The aisles cluttered with merchandise, making getting through them easily very frustrating. I finally found that If I wanted to achieve the same quality of Giant Stores that I experienced in Maryland, I was going to have to travel a bit farther out of my neighborhood to get to it. To date, I've found that this Giant on Ox Road in Lorton, is one of the two Giant stores I shop at! This store looks clean, smells clean, the aisles are typically uncluttered, and produce, meats and various products are fresh and plentiful. The personnel are friendly & helpful as well. I also go the the Giant store at Hedges Run (?) and typically find the same great conditions and helpful personnel at that store as well. I don't understand why the other Giant stores in the Woodbridge, VA aren't as well managed. I have three which are closer to me mileage wise, but frankly, I'll go the "extra mile" to be able to shop in the well managed Giant store.

  REALLY good customer service from my cashier, Colin. Good selection of non-beef items (chicken/turkey sausages, veggie patties, etc.) for grilling.
